PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: DECEMBER 2024 - NOW
ASSOCIATE PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: JULY 2023 - DECEMBER 2024
ASSISTANT PRODUCER: NOVEMBER 2021 - JULY 2023

ROCKSTAR North

My objective is to offer development support to my team and to improve global communication between various disciplines of game development and studios located around the world, ensuring there is a clear workflow.

To achieve this, I organise and document meetings, clearly and accurately track and present detailed schedules, status reports, and other documentation, and manage the team’s bug and task queues to avoid roadblocks.

GAME TESTER
DECEMBER 2020 - NOVEMBER 2021

ROCKSTAR GAMES Lincoln

At Rockstar Games Lincoln, I worked on both Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online as a game tester.

Our self-organized team was specialized on testing new content packs, tunables (weekly events, discounts, incentives, etc) and stability checks.

We coordinated and divided our tasks to efficiently and accurately complete feature sweep tests. In addition to identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying bugs on both games across all platforms.

Projects

Grand Theft Auto Online:

  • GTAO – The Cayo Perico Heist (post-launch content)
  • GTAO –  Los Santos Tuners (launch and post-launch content)
  • GTAO –  The Contract (launch content)

Red Dead Online:

  • RDO – Bounty Hunters (post-launch content)
  • RDO – Blood Money (launch and post-launch content)
JUNIOR PRODUCER
SEPTEMBER 2019 - JUNE 2020

BURN ME TWICE

NULL REFERENCE STUDIO

I was the junior producer of an adventure game released on Steam on May 2020, with +75.000 dowloads and a very positive reaction from the public and critics alike. The project won “Best Student Game Award” at Gamelab and Fun & Serious, the two most prestigious game awards in the Spanish industry, as well as the Game Developers Worldwide Championship, among others.

Burn Me Twice was developed in a challenging schedule of just nine months, and I acted as the only member of the production team. To deliver a high-quality game in such little time, I focussed on the following:

  • Facilitating communication and managing the team
  • Implementing agile practices
  • Planning, tracking and verifying the tasks of a team that grew from 6 to 12 people.

In addition to my responsibilities as producer, I oversaw its publishing, marketing, social networks, and actively participated in the game design and testing.

Game design

u-tad

At university I learned about game design, game production, and project management; and in my free time I put that theory into practice by making my own prototypes and participanting as the junior producer or a junior designer in the development a handful of student games.

Highlights of the collaborative projects I worked on each year:

  • 1st year: 2.5D platformer.
  • 2nd year: VR experience and TTRPG (at the same time I worked professionaly on Modulate).
  • 3rd year: Numerous personal prototypes and a graphic adventure (at the same time I worked professionaly on Modulate).
  • 4th year: Burn Me Twice, and a personal turn-based bank heist prototype.

Other notable achievements :

  • Was awarded a Best Academic Record scholarship
  • Defended an elaborate end-of-degree thesis that studied the production cycle of games and various aspects of team management
  • Was hired by the university to impart game design workshops

NON-PROFIT WORK

MAY 2014 - NOW

Investiga I+D+I

What’s Investiga?
While most educational programs are based on competition, Investiga chooses to create a highly collaborative environment in which the 16-year-old participants work together towards a common goal: give a coherent presentation on a predetermined, very specific scientific topic.
They will put in common their prior research, ask their questions to experts in those fields, and reach their own conclussions.
While this might be the textbook definition of what one of their congresses is like, it merely scratches the surface of the real experience.

Personal Impact
To me, the Investiga I+D+i program represents a 10+ year long commitment to the preservation one of the most impactful educational experiences I’ve ever had.
This is where I discovered and cultivated my passion for leading teams and projects, as well as where I’ve met some of the most inspiring individuals ever.
I wouldn’t be the either person or the professional I am without it, which is why I grew from being a participant to the longest-running volunteer in the organization.

Highlights

  • Key player in preparing the team of Chairmen and setting the Congress’ tone each year.
  • Successfully co-lead the adaptation of the Congress to the digital format during the pandemic.
  • Coordinator of the first ever regional Congress.
  • Congressman in both International and National congresses, facilitating conversations about topics ranging from nuclear fusion to the neuroscience of knowledge.
  • Spanish representative in the International Youth Congress.
